Cook Little attorney Andrea Chatfield is moderating for the HR State Council of NH a series of webinars called “HR Advocacy – Conversations with Regulators.” Through these discussions, HR and business professionals get to hear from New Hampshire regulatory officials and get answers to questions to demystify employers’ interactions with these agencies and the important workplace laws they enforce. NH Employment Security is the featured agency for the May 6, 2021 webinar. Andrea will moderate a conversation with Deputy Commissioner Rich Lavers and General Counsel Karen Levchuk about the unemployment process and the impact of the pandemic.  Cook Little is a proud sponsor of this webinar.  On June 3, 2021, the series will feature the NH Commission for Human Rights. Andrea will moderate a discussion with Executive Director Ahni Malachi and Assistant Director Sarah Burke Cohen regarding the investigation and hearing process under New Hampshire’s Law Against Discrimination.  For more information and to register for one or both of these webinars, go to State Council Advocacy Series.
