Kate practices business litigation in state and federal courts as well as in arbitration proceedings. She assists clients in the areas of corporate governance disputes, contract actions, employment matters, trade secrets, trademarks, copyrights, and other forms of intellectual property litigation and other commercial disputes.
Kate received her J.D., cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School (2005) and her B.A., cum laude, from Saint Anselm College (2002). Prior to joining the firm, Kate clerked for the New Hampshire Supreme Court for two years and for the New Hampshire Superior Court for two years.
Kate currently serves as the New Hampshire Young Lawyer Delegate to the American Bar Association, House of Delegates. Kate is in her third term as a member of the NHWBA Board of Governors, where Kate previously served as its Programming Chair, and currently is serving as its Member at Large. Kate also is a long time member of the Webster-Batchelder Inn of Court, and is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association’s Committee on Cooperation with the Courts where she has worked on several subcommittees in developing litigation guidelines. She also is in her second term as a member of the Saint Anselm College Alumni Council.
